Collaborative Construction is led by Keith Jamieson, who brings 38 years of design and management experience across the full range of engineering and construction disciplines.

 Raised in coastal and rural communities in West Sussex, Keith began his working life at 16 briefly as a gamekeeper before training and developing an electrical contracting business which ran for 20 years. For the next 8 years he co-founded RJ Power to provide electrical technical design and installation of HV 33kV feeder cables for Network Rail. Keith went on to establish 1stinpower securing key contracts for Depot maintenance, inc signal, track DC & AC, electrical, fibre and comms installation for Hitachi Ashford, Siemens Hornsey and the Three Bridges railway depots.

 Keith returned to the West Sussex countryside in 2016 to deliver design and construction projects for the agricultural and horticultural sector. Since then he has delivered >£16M construction projects including a £13M food processing plant, and further £3M across water treatment, solar and drainage solutions for Barfoots of Botley as well as design and build of £1.4M cabbage store for Langmead Farms.

Using his experience he worked with a local grower to correct major faults within a 1.4MW CHP / LED lighting project.

Working with Tangmere Airfield Nurseries he mitigated HV / Fibre and strategic water mains to clear the site for a new Glasshouse to be built.

He is now retained to deliver a 6MW CHP / BESS system in island mode for a mass LED lighting project.

Keith leads Collaborative Construction, which continues to deliver cost-effective projects for clients in the agricultural and horticultural sectors.

Specialising in CHP generation in island mode, power quality via Harmonic and Power Factor filtration.

Heat recovery using sustainable, horticultural / heat main solutions.

He is passionate about his work and in particular using heat from Data Centres for Glasshouse and District heating projects.

Jack is a 28-year-old mechanical engineer specialising in thermodynamics and heat recovery. He obtained a first-class Mechanical Engineering degree (BEng) from the University of Hull and a Distincton in Advanced Mechanical Engineering (MSc) from the University of Leeds. Jack’s undergraduate dissertation discussed the feasibility of using magnetic gearboxes in multimegawatt wind turbines.

Jack worked in Technical Sales and Project Procurement for a leading heat exchanger manufacturer. Since then, he has provided project management for Collaborative Construction and delivering specialised civil and process engineering projects, including in-depth thermodynamic heat survey to optimise the efficiency of Barfoots Energy’s Anerobic Digesting Plant.

Jack works with his father on projects aswell as developing his own building company Harbour Projects.

Amy was a key part of the team who established Collaborative Construction, alongside Keith and Jack. She now manages the administration & back office operations, including banking & bookkeeping, marketing, materials purchasing and more.

She is also regularly to be found on site, where she manages site and likes to operate plant and machinery. She also supports Hunter Chalets in Morzine each year.
